ONTARIO EXPRESS ENTRY

ONTARIO EXPRESS ENTRY: HUMAN CAPITAL PRIORITIES STREAM

For individuals who possess the required skills, education, language skills and relevant work experience in order to settle and work in Ontario.

PROVINCIAL STREAM CRITERIA INCLUDES:

• Work experience
• Education
• Language Skills – meet the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)
• Financial resources
• Intent to live in the province of Ontario

ONTARIO EXPRESS ENTRY SKILLED TRADES STREAM

For skilled tradespersons who have experience of working in Ontario.

PROVINCIAL STREAM CRITERIA INCLUDES:

• Work experience
• If required, a Trade Certification issued by the Ontario College of Trades.
• Language Skills – meet the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)
• Financial resources
• Intent to live in the province of Ontario

EMPLOYER CATEGORY

FOREIGN WORKERS WITH A JOB OFFER STREAM

This stream is used by employers to recruit foreign skilled workers who are eligible to work for the approved positions.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CATEGORY

1. International Students with a Job Offer Stream

   Used by Ontario employers to recruit international students. Students need to obtain a job offer from an Ontario employer.

2. International Students – Masters Graduate Stream

   Individuals who have graduated with a Master’s degree from an eligible Ontario university are eligible to apply.Individuals under this stream do not require a Job offer.

3. International Students – Ph.D. Graduate Stream

   Individuals who have graduated with a Ph.D. from an eligible Ontario university are eligible to apply.
   Individuals under this stream do not require a Job offer.

BUSINESS CATEGORY

1. Entrepreneur Stream

   For individuals who are interested in starting a new business or buying an existing business in the province of Ontario.
   This stream allows applicants to obtain a Temporary Work Permit before obtaining Canadian Permanent Residence.

2. Corporate Stream

   This stream targets international corporations who are looking to expand their business in Ontario.
   This stream allows applicants to obtain a Temporary Work Permit before obtaining Canadian Permanent Residence.
