I am in Canada without status, what are my options?

Over the years we have helped many clients restore their status in Canada. Available options depend upon individual circumstances such as the reason for their lack of status and length of time they have been out of status.

Consequences of a lack of legal status are serious. Canadian authorities have the right to issue a removal order, leading to deportation and denial of future entry to Canada.

If you are currently out of status or subject to a removal order, contact our team of professionals today.

What does it mean to be criminally inadmissible?

People who are not allowed to enter or stay in Canada because they have committed or been convicted of a crime are criminally inadmissible. That crime may have occurred in or outside Canada.

What if I am inadmissible?

At Immigration Terminal, we have helped thousands overcome criminal and medical inadmissibility. Our consultants work closely to determine which application is most effective depending upon the case presented. The application process can take up to 6 months so we advise beginning the process early.

Do I need a medical examination?

Yes, all applicants are required to undergo medical examination. The medical examination includes a standard physical examination, X-Ray, urine test and a blood test.

Medical exams must be performed by a Panel Physician approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Note: Medical examinations are valid for one (1) year from the date of the examination. If your visa is not issued within that time, you must undergo a new medical examination.

How long will it take to process my medical exam results?

Processing times depends upon the type of application and individual conditions. Processing time may take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to as long as 6 months.

Are non-accompanying dependents required to complete a medical exam?
